Christmas Tables is an invitation to open your home, your table, or your favourite café this Christmas! Share the warmth and love of Jesus through simple meals and meaningful conversations.
Between 21–28 December, Saints across the city will be hosting Christmas Tables; creating space for friends, family, and neighbours to belong.
Visit the Christmas Tables booth after service to sign up and mark your area on the map.
Why Christmas Tables
Because Christmas is when God came close, and we get to do the same.
Every open table is a light, a simple way for others to experience love, belonging, and the hope of Jesus.
You don’t need a perfect home or fancy menu, just a heart to invite.
Decide to Host
Sign up at the Christmas Tables booth at the back of the auditorium after service!
Just write your name and contact number, and mark your area on the Christmas Tables map.
Invite Your Guests
Think of 1–5 people you’d like to invite (or more if you want!)
Extend personal invitations — text, call, or in person
Keep it natural: “Hey, I’m having some friends over for a Christmas meal. Would love for you to join us!”
Host Your Gathering
Choose any day between 21–28 December
Format options:
- Home-cooked meal
- Potluck style
- Restaurant gathering
- Christmas brunch/lunch
- Coffee and dessert
Whatever fits your style and capacity!
Create Connection
Have good food and natural conversations
Use conversation starters from the starter kit
Share your Christmas story naturally if it fits

Follow Up
Build relationship organically after Christmas.
Consider inviting them to church or a regular DP and let them know about the Alpha Course if they are interested.
FAQs
Do I need to host at home?
No! Restaurants, cafés, or even a park work great.
Do I have to cook?
Not at all — order food, go out, or keep it simple!
What if I can only invite one person?
Perfect! Every connection matters.
Can I do multiple gatherings?
Yes — as long as it’s joyful, not stressful!
What if my guests don’t want to talk about faith?
That’s totally fine. Focus on connection; love speaks for itself.
Do I need to invite them to church?
Only if it feels natural. The goal is connection, not conversion.
